I’m Ivan — a Berlin-based Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer. Since September 2024 I’ve been Lead Software Developer at ELSÄSSER Filtertechnik GmbH (full time), after freelance work and senior agency roles at chris and friends and NextGen Media.

How do engagements usually start?

Is your work Shopware-only?
Shopware system integration is my main focus today, but I also take on AI enablement (teaching, MCP servers, agent skills), plus broader full-stack, platform, DevOps, and web projects when the fit is right.
Do you work remotely or on-site?
Most clients work with me remotely across the EU. On-site workshops or kickoffs in Berlin are possible when they help the project start faster.
What does a typical integration project look like?
Map the data model, design idempotent sync jobs or webhooks, implement middleware, harden error handling, and document operations so your team can run it confidently.
Which languages do you work in?
English, German, and Russian for calls, specs, and handover. Documentation can follow whichever language your team prefers.
